If you have a private pension in addition to your state pension then you will lose some of your state paension depending on what your total income is, otherwise you should keep the lot, but get rid of what you have in the bank anyway (i.e. NOT declare it) or the thieving government will find a way to nab some or all of it!!

pension entitlement isnt means tested as far as im aware, based on NI contributions. Also doesnt affect winter fuel allowance or prescriptions/bus passes. Unless youre american,in which case I have no clue.
