In living memory I go for Winston Churchill. Although he was only about 65-68 during WW2. He got elected in c1950 by which time he was entering his late 70s. Sorry, not sure of his actual age, but for sure he was 'old' and probably one of the oldest PMs if not the actualy 'oldest'.

Possibly Winston Churchill ..... it certainly will not be Tony Blair or his side kick Gordon brown.
