I've been away from England for a long time and the only smells I remember are things like fish and chips, pub smells...

There's an indefinable smell that to me means "UK"...made up of wool clothing, green things growing, and cold, damp air. I've recieved letters and parcels from the UK that have this smell inside. I miss it.

ummm.. i remember the fish and chips in england... everyone drinking in the afternoon and getting drunk.. the msj tht says "mind the gap" in the underground and the disgusting smell of pee on the floor.. the smell of a real english breakfast... eggs.. bacon.. toast.. tea... high tea... the smell of channel chance on the streets..
