In Cork city, if you love Thai food, try Ruen Thai on Patrick Street. They have also lunch specials.
Wagamama, on North Main Street for Asian and noodle style.
Quay Coop if you like vegetarian and vegan food.
Joup in English market for nice soups for lunch.
Indian Palace on Cook Street (or other side streets around it off Oliver Plunkett St) for tasty Indian.

I would recommend any pub/hotel in Kinsale after all it is the gourmet capital of Ireland. The White Lady Hotel is good as is the Blue Haven Hotel. Hope you enjoy Kinsale.

Dino's in Kinsale offers local sea food and has an adjoining chippy next door. Great chips.

Currans on Adelaide Street in Cork City, or Milanos on Oliver Plunkett Street. Amicus on Paul Street is also really nice and very reasonable

i know there is a good fish restaurant in youghal called ahernes!
