There is an old man waiting at the temporary bus stop outside my house. Should I go out and tell him that I dragged it there last night on the way home from the pub?

Or should I skive off work to see how long he stands there for and how many other people will wait for a bus there?

Before you judge me too harshly, I do live on a small cul-de-sac and it should be pretty obvious to anyone with half a brain that you couldn't actually get a bus down the road, let alone turn it round and get it back out again - so you've got to feel they kind of deserve it...

Wait until it gets dark then drag him into your house and kill him! KILL HIM.

Superb. Where i'm from we would pull up a comfy chair and settle down with a bag of popcorn. The best part is after an hour when someone tells him the bus doesn't stop here. That's when the old dude looks around for the culprit and we laugh like f**k:)

aww that does sound pretty funny, but in this weather i wouldnt be laffing if i was on the receiving end of this prank. doing the right thing always wins in the end, so if you want to save face then i suggest bending the truth, nipping out there and saying you saw some one do it this morning and to let them know they may be waiting a long time for a bus to get there

have fun

Aw, he's an old man. Go fess up and wait for someone less vulnerable to stand there, then you can watch them to your heart's content. Although, I'd go out and tell them the joke after an hour or so because it'll be funnier for you!

Dear god, man, that's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Please tell me you actually did this!

You've got to at least tell him that the bus isn't coming. He's an old dude, and the weather isn't so great almost everywhere. But I'd leave it there and wait to see what happens...

Yeah nice one mate! They don't use temporary bus stops anymore. I work for one of the largest bus companies in GB. Have we been watching " You've been framed?"

Absolutely hilarious!!!

If it was someone younger or better still someonme you knew I would be inclined to say leave it.

Because it is someone elderly, in view of the cold weather, I would go tell him you think you saw someone moving it there last night. I don't think I could tell him it was me.

this isn't funny, but amazing, i drove past a friends house yesterday and i noticed all the curtains were open - that's a great sign. sunlight warms up a house, makes u feel better. i like sitting in the sunlight, reading a good book with my wife curled in around me making memories.

If he waits any longer offer him a cup of tea for a price (it is cold) and make a profit out of this.
