Well i would say it is linked by the rolling stone meaning dont stop to listen to other peoples drama, keep going and aviod their problems (moss) and worry about your own.
And the "dont wash your dirty underware in public" applies because they are both about drama, keep going and aviod the drama, and the whole underware thing is about not throwing your problems (drama) at other people.

well yeah.. especially the first one - keeping busy and up and about will always lead to productivity and u wont get rotten and mossy... as for the dirty underwear - yeah, u dont exactly want everyone to see your sh*t... so keep it to yourself and maintain the trust and dignity u have in everyone around you..

maybe don't stay in one place for too long and don't tell anyone your dirty secrets/bad habits that way no one can bad mouth you.
Only problem with that is you never end up with any friends...
