i love one guy n we want to do marriage in temple just for our satisfaction that wo are for each other..then we both will live separately..i hope our parents will do our marriage after 2 years.should we do sex after marrying in temple or after 2 years when we will marry with our parent's permission?

I strictly disagree with Ur decision,do u think marriage is a game than can be done how many times u need? no it is life time commitment to each other which is done in a spiritual way in front of the family members and friends,to say that they are legally bond to each other.and are now eligible to lead a happy and pleasant life through out.If Ur parents want to do Ur marriage after 2 years it means they r intrested in Ur marriage,and by just putting a sindoor is not a marriage .and just to have sex there is no need to get married.that depends upon once self respect and the way they think,but if u do it without the notice of the parents then it is a purely illegal work that is called as prostitution.

Hey Isha .. firstly are you both legally elligible to marry and if so why hide it from your parents now and hope that two years down the line they will get you both married. Secondly if you have not attained the marriageable age and this is a ploy to become physical just avoid it. I am sure you are educated and you will be able to understand the various issues that crop up such cases. It is always the girl who is left holding the blame.... the boy always walks away happily as nothing ever has happened.
Careful..... but then dear its your life !!!!!!!!!!!!

The former will not amount to marriage. According to Hindu custom, the marriage should be solemnised in front of Agni with some elders, standing in witness. If you parents want you to wait for some time, you need to wait, unless otherwise decided by you. But, the kind of putting sindhoor in the temple is no marriage and will not legitimise your promiscuity.

Marriage in temple may have some meaning in movies but not in real life. You have to go for marriage registration and then only you are legally married. It's not good to have sex before marriage specially in India.

Get married properly with the permission of your parents, then go for sex. If you think you can do sex after sindoor in your maang marriage then you are a real fool, wait for 2 more years.

Dear Isha,
If you are a minor, please dont even think of sindoor leave alone sex! In any case your poor dear love-interest would be in serious trouble.
However if you and your friend are majors, then think over these-
1. If you both want to reassure your love for one another, you can go about with this sindoor plan. But in case you want to play this as the trump card when your parents oppose your wedding, then please wake up! Just by putting sindoor in privacy does not count as wedding. (Adding coffee to water doesnt make edible coffee, its a step by step process. Just following a single step would not give you the results. Marriage is a process, of which 'maang bharo' is just a step)
2. If you want this sindoor only to escape the guilt of pre-marital sex, then forget it. As an unmarried kid you would not know the importance of sindoor or wedding.
3. If you both are serious about giving a respectable meaning to your relationship, then wait till either of you are in a position to fend for one another. Then take your parents into confidence and in case you are unable to convince them, then go for a structured registered marriage & collect your marriage certificate.
4. You trust this man, but can you predict your future with him? In case you have to marry somebody else, then how would you deal with the fact that you had had sex with the other man?
Though Dropadi had five men in her sexual life, she is considered as a lady with strong character, because all those men were her HUSBANDS. Isha dear, patience is a virtue.

It prima facie means that you people do not trust each other and want to fulfill certain desires under the viel of marriage. Who stops you from having sex without putting sindoor on ur maang. Why can not you wait for 2 years ? what is the guarantee that any of you will not step back after that desire is fulfilled ? In case any one of you backed down what will other do ? if no possibility of backing down they why this drama

Dear Buddy, In India, it is the practice / tradition to put sindhoor by the Hindus / Sikhs / Jains. However, Muslims are not using and even some sects of Christianity. In short, this usage of sindhoor is the tradition in India. However, I was surprised to see even some of the Muslim Girls/Women using Bindis while wearing Burkhas. Converted Christians continue to use the Sindhoor as they have not completely changed to be 100% pure Christians. Hence, for Hindus, it is important for the married ladies to put sindhoor. In South India, the usage of sindhoor is there since from the childhood or atleast on attaining puberty. In Contrast, in North India, the usage of sindhoor is there since the day getting married. This differentiates a married woman from that of an unmarried. People are ofcourse in low number, trying to forget this tradition / practice which is totally against our culture. Are you seeking license to have sex by putting sindhoor? Then its a bad idea. Sex should be reserved for the marriage day and not before that. Otherwise, there is no sanctity in it. Animals do it. We are not animals. We have sex because of love and commitment to one person. Think about that.

i think u should have sex after 2 yrs when ur parents give the permission if u make hasty decisions. even u think u r for each other then wait for 2 more yrs it wont b a prob
