try the webpage of cebu pacific and click on the tab fun tours. if you are adventurous and the kids are big enough to experience a holiday ala "amazing race," then you can book your own ticket and experience staying in cheaper accomodations like the dozens of hostels in chungking mansions along nathan road. very cheap and very accesible to tourist destinations but can scare a lot of people because not the usual place we would probably stay in. i would say it is safe and cheap but a place kids would probably object.(quite small and has a funny smell because of the international cuisine served in the area from the indian subcontinent and africa).
