i ' m 48 years of age i have good husband and teenage children and we are a average family but why do i feel neglected

Have you done anything for yourself lately? How about your husband, has he done anything for you? If not, ask him for something special.

Because men tend to get less affectionate, considerate and thoughtful as time goes on. Do something for yourself. Pamper yourself if you are not getting it from your hubby. You take care of kids and a hubby daily and continue to give of yourself, so do something for yourself that would make you feel better.
Get your hair done. or nails done. or go shopping for a new outfit.
Something thats fun for you and just for you.
If the hubby needs talking to about this, then why not tell him how you are feeling. Its a two way street. Marriage has to be give and take, and a little romance with hubby may help too.

Have you invested time in your marriage and husband instead of just he kids as they were growing up? Start dating and getting to know your husband all over again. Put your marriage above the kids for once. Remember you raise the kids till they are adults or out on their own BUT your marriage is supposed to be worked on and a priority till death do you part. Seek counseling and help for how you are feeling too. Do things with your husband and spend time with him and with your kids. Have fun!

Hmm...maybe you are not doing your part of the family?
Teenageers, dont neglect you really, they are just too busy with their lives!! How do I know? Because I am one myself! Sometimes though I stop to think about my lonely mother, I love her to death, and once in a while I realize that it does look like a form of neglect. But like I said you might be doing something wrong AND they are just teenagers, I wouldn't worry much, and about your husband...no clue?

Buy a dog. They are loyal and are always happy to see you. They are attentive and don't talk back. Also they love to be pet and give back lots of kisses.
