Pre marital sex has been common in all times and all culture. It is only now being reported due to the media invasion. Prevalence has increased little bit now because society gives more opportunities of interaction between two sexes due to education and employment (mainly to women). Boys do want virgin girls but that is also now changing gradually.

In my opinion the modern generation or era, men have more or less came learnt to accept that girls are no longer a virgin at marriage. It is of course a bonus if she is. Because with the frequent ups and downs of relationship, the make and break it is so easy to have sex before marriage let alone those budget hotel with 20 dollars for a transit isnt this tempting the younger generation, besides there are not much activity space that a couple can have besides movies and shopping. Therefore the issue of virgin is no longer an issue at marriage but rather the compatibility

It is very prevalent. However I really don't know many guys that want to marry a virgin these days. First of all, people are not getting married as young as they used to and it's doubtful that you're going to find many 25-30 year old virgins. These days, I think boys and girls would rather marry someone who has had a few serious partners instead of someone who has had many.

I live in a Western culture, and virginity isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be here. Depending on religious conviction, virginity is not necessarily prized. I know one friend who did not have sex until marriage, but after that I got a lot of phone calls from both him and his bride asking about sex.

Do I approve of pre-marital sex? Sure, if the two people are smart about it and take all steps they can to limit exposure to std's and pregnancy-causing materials. If they can't take responsibility for their own bodies, then they shouldn't be having sex.

As to how prevalent it is, I have no idea. I can't give you a concise number.

relies upon on the rustic, age, and somewhat faith. Supposedly interior the united kingdom, 70% of individuals approve. In my adventure that is closer one hundred%. The 30% of the survey who declare to no longer approve in all probability includes older respondents and/or the extremely non secular. i've got purely ever met a handful of individuals who expressed any form of opinion approximately pre-marital intercourse, and that they fell into the two a form of categories (all have been over sixty 5, all have been extremely non secular). as we communicate that is merely no longer a controversy: to maximum individuals the thought you will get married to somebody you will by no potential slept with is carefully unthinkable.

This is a big problem in society. As there is no proof of pre-marital sex for boys, girls cannot allege until someone complains. But for girls hymen means a lot at least in Asian countries, I believe

Well, in western culture today, almost everyone has pre-marital sex. In general it's a good thing as it prevents a lot of marriages getting off on the wrong foot. However, it also gets abused. A lot of folks have some very casual sex and that's truly damaging to one's self-respect.

Maybe, maybe not. It's prevalance cannot be determined exactly as people, mostly boy's are in the habit of boasting about it.
As the interval between reaching puberty and marraige increases between completion of their education and finding a niche in their chosen carreers this, one of the most basic human instincts gets unduly delayed resulting in complications of late marraiges viz. incompatability, infertility, promiscuity etc.
Here parents of both girls and boys can take the lead and even at an earlier age, say even before completion of their studies, they can bring the 2 consenting-adults together and bind them in an informal bond which will be much better than living together which is still unacceptable in our society. Once given the license to enjoy each other's company in this way,the boy and girl will tend to behave in a responsible manner and maybe indulge between themselves instead of hopping from bed to bed in a bid to explore their sexuality. They will in the process learn more about contraception in order to prevent an unwanted pregnancy out of respect for their parents. They will become responsible in other ways as well and will decide on their carreers faster.
Pre-marital sex under the above circumstances may be good for the following reasons:
-both the boys and girls can fulfil their basic instincts at an earlier age in spite of their long,drawn-out carreers thus obviating the need to explore it unheathily and contract AIDS/VENEREAL Diseases in the bargain.
-being loyal to eachother there won't be a feeling of guilt between them.
-they can start their family earlier thus preventing the complications of late marraiges, even if one of them is not settled in their carreers.
-they will be able to concentrate better in their studies/carreers and not waste their time in fantasising about sex.

I'm still a virgin. I don't want to compare my wife to anyone else. Nor do I want her comparing me to anyone else. If we're both terrable at sex, Neither one of us will have any clue
