I've had kids with two different men, with the first for 8 years, and never married him, with the second for 2 1/2 years and never married him. I have been proposed to over a dozen times & I finally-last year married someone!
I was married before, when I was 18 years old, because I had no place to go, and he told me to marry him or get out. I thought I had loved him. We were never really friends though.
My new husband is different. We became friends first. The reason I married him was this: One day when I was going to work, he came along to drop me off & use the car, we were happy & smiling, laughing and joking. As I turned to get out of the car, I was overwhelmed with sadness. I am a pro at hiding my emotions, but before I could even figure out what I was feeling-HE ALREADY KNEW, and he asked me "What's wrong?"
He is the only man I've ever met who is in tune with my emotions. That is why I married him!

Some people are born to become wives. Others to be single. The same as born to be a mother. Not to mention that this is my second marriage. I believe I told my husband that yes I would move in with him as long as he married me with in 5 months. The resaon,,,,,, I have 3 daughters and I did not want to teach them it is ok to "shack up". Now, that might be why I married him so soon, but not the reason that I did. I was in a bad marriage the first time around. So, I sure as hell was not going to marry without knowing that I loved him so much.

Because i knew he was the right one for my life... We prayed about it and he was Gods perfect will and plan for my life and my kids lives. We both felt the same way and were ready for the marriage and to spend the rest of our lives together. Trust me you know when it is right. He also is my best friend and helper and we love to be with each other and just spend time together. We also married for the companionship too.
