Register on www.rightmove.co.uk (if you are in the UK) and then go to the house prices section - enter your postcode and it will show you the prices sold within a certain time frame.

Look in the local estate agents or ask an estate agent to give you a valuation. They do it for free hoping you will sell through them. Say you are only contemplating a move and you are working out finances first.

use a search engien to search for websites in which you can get average price of your postcode....

look in the local newspaper at houses in your area and work out an average price that way
