When you have problems with your husband/wife
I know yall should talk it out first, and try marriage
counseling.
Is it better not to have parents in law involved in any
circumstances?

Do not involve the inlaws here ... The right things is marriage counseling first of all to try and help to work on and save the marriage. Yes talk and communicate with each other too. Go to http://www.drphil.com and email them and see what they have to say about this. I hope things get better for you and this marriage soon. You will be in my prayers. It is much better talking to someone who is unbiased and i do not feel that a family member would be totally unbiased here. How about talking to a marriage mentor? My husband and i are here if you need to talk to us as well.

I would try not to get the parent in laws to be involved as it could mess the things out. If things can't work out well, then there is no point for the couples to be together as both of you may have more argument than happy moments

Parents in law frequently gum up the works, but you and your husband need to keep them at a distance so that you can work out your problems. They aren't part of the marriage, you two are.

I wouldn't involve either of the in laws. it can be difficult at times for parents to forgive and forget when someone has hurt their child (adult or otherwise). If in laws are involved they can still harbor negative feelings toward the person they view as the offender well after the issue has been resolved between the couple.

One should never allow family members from either side to participate in any discussions regarding marriage problems it should be strickly between the husband and wife and a neutral third party marriage counselor.

To do otherwise is asking for nothing but problems.
