1. Why other country people prefer India for tourism?.
Because India is perhaps the ancient civlization still alive and kicking. So, people would like to see the traditions and customs followed thousands of years ago. India also has beautiful places and structures like Khujraho, Tajmahal, Ajanta &Ellora, forts etc.,
2. Why we prefer other country people to tour India?
Because that will get us money inflow. And we will have an identity in the world.

Indian prefer foreign Visitors because they can get more money from them than what they get from a Local Indian Visitor, be it HOTEL, TAXI, AUTO, even GOVERNMENT (they charge more money from Foreign Visitors to See TAJ, who has already spent so much to be here) So when Government earns more from Foreign Visitor, Why not everyone fool foreign visitors to get that Extra money.

I guess thats a misconception forex earned will always help yhe country while domestic travelers are ever increasing.

do you mean 'why do tourists like your country?' - if so...its because of the weather, beautiful beaches & very friendly people. in fact - i am coming in 16 days - my 3rd visit and i am looking forward to it very much. you have a lovely country!
