Everyone likes to have friends and family. We are creatures of the herd, social activities amongs people we know and trust. Lonelyness is a bad thing. It can get you down and it is hard to come back from Hell. Yes, there I answered your question. It was an everyday thing for years till I met someone who had the same problems. We solved it by making our own little world and a few babies.

Pretty much every waking minute of every day. Especially since I'm the type of person who feels lonely in a crowd. After almost 6 years I've learned not to dwell on it, but it's always there.

Every day. Usually at night... I usually wake up due to an overwhelming feeling of loneliness, so I usually only sleep 3-4 hours a night. Its been going on all my life, but its gotten worse since my former boyfriend dumped me. I usually got lonely and thought "well, at least he loves me." But now I don't even have that to fall back on. My friends don't know about this. They think I'm just a night-owl or an insomniac..
I usually fall asleep daytime at my house, my uncle and my grandfather are up, and I hear their voices in my sleep (we are a loud family) and I'll sleep all day, just as long as I hear someone (that isn't the television) talking and moving around.

There are times that loneliness appears in your mind.
And you just can't shake it off.
But when you look at it clearly.
It is only your subconscious.
Doing what you usually do.
But you have a choice.
You can train your subconscious a way leading to the cessation of loneliness, since by being lonely when you are lonely, you are only making yourself lonelier.
Or continue to act lonely whenever you feel lonely.
It just might be.
Your subconscious' way.
Of telling you, "Hey - I'm bored of living this way, shouldn't we find a better way to live?"
As the Buddha once said:
"And what is the result of stress? There are some cases in which a person overcome with pain, his mind exhausted, grieves, mourns, laments, beats his breast, & becomes bewildered. Or one overcome with pain, his mind exhausted, comes to search outside, 'Who knows a way or two to stop this pain?' I tell you, monks, that stress results either in bewilderment or in search"
