Can anybody please advise me as soon as possible what to say to my gir lfriend who is so confused by being under pressure from her parents. I dont want to loose her and she told me yesterday that our marriage seemed impossible. But I really dont see my life going any where without her. So please advise what should I say to her to keep our relationship alive and which also make her consider and strive for our marriage. I know that she loves me alot but ...........her parents........they have something else on their mind.

just explain to you gf that a relationship is teamwork and you are both in this together. Let her know that you can feel her pain and that you hurt because of the pain her parents are causing her. Let her know that you are willing to go all the way with her in this matter and that no matter what they try to tell her together you can do anything. If none of that works out then it seems as if she might have already decided.

You could also tell them that ( in the last if they do not agree) since both of you are majors and if you elope they cannot do anything and also there is an option for both of you to go ahead an get married right away with their help also.
