80's. the 70's was a great era but i love the 80's. that is when music was music and not noise. but it did bring that crappy rap out though. but it was the ok rap. not like today's where they down people and kill people!

I really like the 80s and 90s. The times just seemed so much simpler. Perhaps that's just because I was a kid during those times.

today's "alternative" music is so mainstream, i almost choke saying the "a" word, but there's a lot of good stuff out there.
70's if you leave out the majority of the disco. that's when "alternative" music really was edgy.
