Hi, I need to install a program for my work on my pc but when I try to install it it says' it is missing required files.' As I do not have time on my side, am I better to buy another router/modem and install it on my other backup PC to get me up an running. Can two routers be installed on two different machines provided they do not run at the same time. Thanks.

I am not sure why you dont want to connect the second PC to the primary router to have the network or internet connection,

Two routers can very well communication, but make sure to have them in two diffrent network if there are interconnected...

not sure if your whole Q. is here .
U need a 2 wire ! att 2700 model , is a combo dsl router . you can use both computers .
as 4 missing files ,ah duno . are they for ur work or for the router ?
