Dockers are my tip.
They are a young and improving team. Who has a very fast midfield and backline, quality power forward in Pavlich and a quality goalsneak in Farmer.

They have defeated the Eagles twice last season the second time by about 10 goals. The reason they didnt make the grand final last year was because they met the Swans in the rain at Telstra stadium (perfect conditions for the swans).

I agree (In my biased opinion) with Max a that Essendon will be a whole new team this season you cant see a team with two of the best key position forwards (Lucas and Lloyd) and the best key position backs ( Fletcher and Mal Michael) coming bottom 4 again. But winning the premiership? we'll see.

Port Adelaide will win .. Geelong failed against Collingwood, fortunate to flee with a 5 element win. The Cats surrended an 18pt final quarter lead against a set with 7 gamers 21or under whilst in comparison with the Cats a million, whilst additionally boasting a set with 9 all Australians , Collingwood had none ! Port stopped Brisbane's, run of three premiership's in 04, the Cats have not gained a flag on condition that 1963 (40 4 Years) and going via their form against Collingwood they wont pose many issues for the potential.

Its the second week of February, with practice games only starting , so really who know's which team the AFL and the Umpires want to succeed this year! Strange though how Vic teams are finding it difficult to win the FLAG recently, so with the interstate dominance , maybe the only ONE without, Freemantle, may well be "bordering " on being the One for 2007. Alternatively the other answer is,the ONE AFL team in FRONT when the final siren sounds on grand final Day will be considered to have WON.

Sydney. The AFL Premiership will only be won by Sydney and West Coast forever going forward. West Coas will win the 2008 flag, Sydney the 2009 and os on, you get my drift...

As much as would like to see the mighty bombers get up this year i doubt it very much!
I think that eagles will do it. They are rough and tough. They have a strong forward and back and their midfield cannot be beaten. But i also think St Kilda might be able to beat them they are looking very strong.

Eagles would be hard to beat, but i reckon if anyone has the list and talent to do it, it would be the saints. Provided st.kilda get their act together and play some good footy
Cant wait for the season to start!!!

i think who ever wins the grand final this year, its going to be another non-victorian grand final. im tipping adelaide again, simply because they are a good team...they just gotta produce the goods in finals footy. craigy should be able to lift the boys and win a flag for all the south australians!

I think that Sydney will be there again this year but I reckon it will be the dockers that they play and while it will be tight Sydneys experience will see them through.
