Dude I've got to have Mozilla Firefox !
Here are all the benefits:
1. Security: Always ask you if you want to continue since something about a sites security badge was not updated & that due to this the site might not be authentic. Gives you the choice to accept to enter but only for this session & then will recheck the next time also.
2. Offers bunches of security. Blocks cookies better.
3. I have like NO pop ups anymore & this time I installed no blocker.
4. ALL IE's years have an ability to crash if you surf fast (they have quirks get viruses easier, more viruses find them)
5. Faster surfing by manner of opening up new tabs super quick in the same browser (can choose to keep arranged sets of tabs in line so don't lose place !
6. And keeping bookmarks be easier also, the folder comes up quicker. Everything's smoother & more solid whereas IE gives you blips & bounces & stalls.
7. Has Add Ons like weather etc. (although these of little interest to me they're able if you'd like to try them)
The cut & pasta to clipboard feature functions quicker I think.
Surf at the speed of light (near literally) !
note: I have seen sites instruct you that you must use an IE or Netscape browser but they don't mention Firefox so they don't accept Firefox. These sites that won't accept Firefox do Netscape.
And Netscape's my the next choice after Firefox.
No contest dude. I love Firefox.

I only use Mozilla Firefox for a month or two becasue there's a problem with my IE 7. But now I think both browsers are almost the same. But personally I prefer Mozilla even though I'm using IE 7 now.

I prefer Firefox with most of my web browsing, but there are a couple drawbacks. Firefox still doesn't show some of the custom HTML stuff. It doesn't show the colored scroll bars on certain sites, and it doesn't show certain pictures, but I still prefer Firefox over IE7 for the security as well. I have way less errors with Firefox and less people use it. Which makes it a whole lot safer from hackers. Plus, Firefox is constantly trying to update and stream line their browser. Unlike the year wait time from IE 7, which you usually have to go to the microsoft site to get the stupid updates anyway. So, I think I prefer the Firefox..lol..But that's just me.

No. I had Internet Explorer. Then my dad got Mozilla Firefox because it was supposed to be better but it made everything twice as slow. Now I'm back on Internet Explorer because it doesn't take as long and it's a lot less frustrating.

I have just recently come to a happy co-existence with the two operating on my system !! I have certain sites and certain activities that just simply work better with one OR the other---SO--- I have the two setup and ready for the jobs that I have for them to do !!
IE7 seems to be really funky about its security measures and is somewhat "skittish" about downloads ect. --especially on certain sites--- firefox seems to be extremely confident on these sites and leaves the "call" on the download to ME -- I like that a lot !!
There are other sites that just don't have a Firefox frame of mind and either do not recognize it at all OR give major hassle to you for trying to use it--- SO-- enter IE7----case closed !!

I love it! :) Personally I have been a Firefox user for quite a while now, and I think it spanked IE.. but then I haven't used the latest IE, and I hear they incorporated some changes of their own that were slick. That's my 2 copper, Have a great day!

Before IE 7, I did prefer Firefox, but now IE has pretty much everything firefox has (minus the auto spell checker) and is supported by a lot more of the sites I go to.

Yes, purely for security. Firefox doesn't have nearly as many holes in it as IE has.
