I would like to set up a ferry company to run ferry service to the outlying Islands. I would like to buy a cheap one. How much does a ferry ( 60 - 70 seats) cost?

Where are you? What islands?

In the US or UK you have to fulfill literally hundreds of page of safety, construction and crewing requirements....I used to do safety inspections and crew training and I do mean hundreds of pages of rules and regs to follow.....the 149 passenger ferries in ST Thomas that run to St John or Tortola cost near a half million dollars and then there's another 50-60 thousand in safety gear and ten thousand a year in crew training.....oh yeah, crews have to have licenses which take time and experience to get...
