You put your question in the Christmas section so I'll give you a Christmas answer. During the Christmas season, invite friends for Christmas dinner. Decorate your home with a Christmas tree. After dinner, sing Christmas carols. You can give small Christmas presents (more like party favors) to the guests. Some gift ideas would be a small box of chocolate, snow globes, Christmas cookies, etc. I think that you'll be merry and hopefully so will your guests. I saw a news story about Mother Teresa (when she was still alive). The nuns in her order brought out a birthday cake and they were singing Happy Birthday (Dear Jesus). You might do that too.
