william shakespeare.. he was a great writer of plays and poetry who lived in england around the year 1600 he understood people very well and many think he is the greatest writer in the english language

No one writer has ever come close to William Shakespeare. And probably no one ever will. His influence on not only English, but also of drama in general, is hard to express. His understanding of the human condition, and how to express it, has never been rivalled.

Pearl dollar, Jane Austen, Charlotte/Emily Bronte, Louisa may Alcott, Willa Cathers, Margaret Mitchell Emily Dickenson Charles Dickens, PD James George Orwell Ayn Rand i'm 15... i'm a especially mature reader. those are the purely ones i visit imagine of in the present day.

shakespeare is a good choice, but he is so boring. Sorry. One of my favourite is Tolkien.......to write a masterpeice like The Lord of the Rings, was amazing, and it is still popular today.
