Actually he wanted to try out different players at different batting orders to ascertain who will be better served in a particular position and also in order to hve flexibility in the batting order, which is not at all new in cricket. Different countries are carrying out such experiments. If his experiments would have been successful everybody would have praised Chappel. Unfortunately his experiments have not yielded the desired result and as such he is being condemned, which is too bad
