You're giving this way too much thought . . . I'd stick with the 4th. And happy belated b-day.

I used to work in Labor and Delivery, and if your birth certificate says you were born at 11:59pm on Feb. 4th.... then thats when it was! As someone said, it may well have been 11:59:55, but delivery room staff is pretty accurate when it comes to that stuff. Had it been Feb 5 00:01 then your birth certificate would have said that. I have seen twins born before who were born just minutes apart, and on different days, imagine THEIR dilema! Being twins and having different birthdays. If the dr. wanted to make life easier ..... they would have been born on the same day, which ever day he picked! I'm going with your birthday is in fact, on Feb. 4th!

Ask momma.

I would say it's the fourth, 'cause that's what the Dr. said.

Is there any signifigance to not being born on the fifth? Why would they estimate or guess if you were born in a hospital?

It seems that this question was answered definatively on 2/4/1952.

Haha, Happy Birthday! I guess you would just go with the birth certificate, because there's really no way of knowing if they estimated. So I guess my answer is: 4th.

Happy belated birthday.
I guess you might have been born on the 5th at 12:00 am.
There could have been a mistake of 1 minute.

You were born at 12-59 P.M.
They did not mention how many seconds after 59 or how many seconds before midnight. If you were born at 59 seconds after 59 minutes, your birthday is Feb 4th.

Who knows even 11.59 have some errors and its might be 11.50, because I don’t think some one was there with the stop watch isn’t. and it hardly matters with 5 to 10min difference . there is a start tome and end time in the process birth its not like u just press the enter key and the baby is out
