i am due to take a flight tonight to sri lanka from heathrow. i wonder if i can buy some perfume (Brut splash on) from the duty free and take it into the cabin ?

You have no problems with perfumes IF you buy duty free in the departure lounge, but they will not allow you to take more than 150ml of liquid through security to departures.

umm...I'm not so sure but becuz of the terrorists their has been some changes to flight rules. You can't take liquid stuff with u on the plane, u can however take it if u put in one of the luggages u know, u send before u aboard the plane?? Well, when I was going to hawaii, they didn't let me. I did have some in other luggages though. I heard, in England, they're allowing u to take make up or liguid stuff if it's in small container..like not the whole stuff..u should call them n find out

Of course you can and also you can use the duty free shop coming back. I know because I travel a lot and have doe this.
