You need to relax. I know exactly how you are feeling! I too was deathly afraid of loosing my baby. But she is a healthy little angel asleep in her bed right now and all the worrying I did was for nothing. Just relax, take care of your body and I'm sure everything will work out just fine! If you are sleepy, sleep. If not, don't. In fact, I was so sick with morning sickness all night, that I didn't sleep much at all the first 14 weeks of my pregnancy.

It's normal to feel scared to loose the baby I was scared to death, I am more relaxed now as my 2nd trimester gets closer.
I work in show biz and get home about 12am every night and sleep about 3 or 4 am, after cooking, relaxing, bathing etc it takes a while for the adrenalin from the show to get out of my system and let me sleep, but for the sleep I miss out on I make sure I try to sleep in a litttel longer, or put my feet up a little longer than normal, if you are use to sleeping late then it shouldn't affect the baby, its when you suddenly change your habits that it can harm the baby, just eat well, excersize, and hope for the best, I am sure you will be absolutely fine and have a healthy baby

best of luck

While everything that you go through effects the baby in some way, I would not think that staying up too late once in awhile would cause something like a miscarriage. Stress isn't good on the baby (although miscarrying due to stress seems like a rare occurance) and it's not good on you either. You should relax and take care of yourself during your pregnancy, your body is going through enough without you worrying yourself sick!

Yes. It is unhealthy for the to be born baby if the mother regularly stays awake till late.NO matter if the mother to be was used to doing so. An expectant mother has to take loads of care in all respects-be it food or her lifestyle. The baby can be harmed.

No its fine as long as you get some sleep. But don't stay up all night if you have to work the next day your body needs to rest at some point.
