I've wondered the same thing myself, and I have to attribute it to evolution. I don't think think this is a racist question, everyone just throws the racist term around, if you even ask a question anything to do with race. So my dear, I think it has to do with evolution because I often wonder how Asian people came to have a certain look, and Middle Eastern people come to have that look and so on. I would like to know as well.

Different????? in what of many ways???

Actually from the point of view of biology/evolution the differences are negligible almost non existent. Despite the apparent difference of white versus black, brown hair versus blond etc, genetically they are not differences but environmental adaptations. This is not an opinion. This is FACT.Culturally there are differences. Different religions, political beliefs, tradition etc. Again this is a factual quantitative observation. Not qualitative. Not one of all these attributes is better or worse than the next one. At least from a scientific point of view. Religion however would have it otherwise.

Different how? Culturally? Physically?

Most "races" are culturally different because they are raised different. They come from different families with different backgrounds. Most people adopt the same "values" as their parents and family and when they have kids they pass down the same values.

Physically, its all genetic.

culture, time and natural selection. We are so used to travel now. But a few thousand years ago people had time to develop and breed and started to look different according to their environments.

because if we were all the same it would be boring i suppose... the world needs diversity in all aspects (and in anycase, should it even be an issue coz one thread binds us all together irrespective of race and culture - "we're all human beings" - period). why are you white and not black, hispanic or any of the other? what if i think you're different... whats your opinion on your difference?

As your question stands now, I can only say the following:

Evolution. Biological and social evolution. Yes, social evolution exists.

Other than that, you shall have to narrow your question a quite bit. It is rather broad.
