I've never heard Kendaleigha before and at first look, before seeing your pronounciation...I had no idea where to go with that name. It's a very unique name however quite a mouthful for a little one, as well as a fairly long name for them to learn to spell.
Have you thought about separating the two names?
Kendal Leigha
You could still call her that, just use her first and middle name. I think Kendal is a very cute name and have never met anyone with that name or whose child is that name. The only Kendal I've ever heard was on All My Children soap years ago.
Not wanting a common name can be a good thing but you also must be very careful not to go too crazy on a name. Good Luck

Go on a baby name website and click on 'names by origin'. You'll find a lot of unique names that don't require leaps of the imagination in order to pronounce.

Kendaleigha is really unique. I like really unique names.
Names like Aea (ay-uh) Galexy, Adragon (uh-dray-gun) Kalyca, Sayen (say-in-Native American-lovely) Tayen (tay-in-Native America-new moon) Those are a few I like.

I think that its a really pretty name, but be warned. My best friend has a really unusual name and resents having to spell it out all the time, and people always say it wrong, so think carefully. Good Luck.
