There is no "guarentee" for a happy marraige, it depends on both individuals. A happt marraige consits of: love, trust, communication, care, consideration, and mutual respect to each other.
Certainly religion plays a role, you didn;t mention what religion you are but to answer your question I would say it is safe to say yes. I know for me that is true because I am hapily married to a wonderful Chrisitan man. May God bless you in your search for your answer to this question.

Although many of the standars of christianity to help support a longer marriage. Religion should not be so labeled when it comes to love. This is what you need to know about marriage to make it work.
Forget Religion here for a minute
Communication
Honesty
Love
Faith
Support
Sincerity
Monogamy
Those are the stepping stones, and the FOUNDATION to ANY good marraige. You have to work together, love eachother, and talk to eachother.
It's true that many religions, such as christianity, support those values. But don't go labeling your love.
You should love him, and marry him above all else, for what's inside his heart. Not what house he worships in.
Don't limit love.
That's my advice to you.

Christian or not, nothing is guaranteed in marriage. This implies that you can sit on your fat azz and do nothing and expect the marriage to be perfect just because you married a christian.
Marriage takes proper maintenance for it to last. Otherwise it is pure torture for the both involved.

There are no guarantees in life or in marriage. Are you a christian? Just pray for your marriage and leave your marriage in God's hands.

Marrying with man or woman of any cast or creed does not guarantee a happy married life. Person you marry should be a nice, compatible( to you and your family).

No.
We are all human and see things differently, and read things differently.
It is a great help though as with God in the marriage you can go to him when things aren't going your way and ask him to change your husbands mind. Mind you, you have to accept the answer as being God's will for you. I have seen God change My husbands mind many times now (with out my nagging). There have been a few times when he never, but I still trust my marriage/life to him and he cares for me.

Uh, NO... it depends on the person themselves. If you love them you're not going to care what religion they are. I know nice christian guys, and Jewish ones too...
