I was a kid growing up in the early, innocent, black and white days of Aussie TV. I discovered TV at the same time I discovered Superman. I was pretty impressed with him until I was 7 years old and discovered Sheba, Queen of the Jungle. At 7 I had lost my innocence the moment I saw her in leotards, unsunburnt white skin in the tropical sun, never a trace of perspiration although she had just done a tarzan thing through the trees and her hair, perfectly groomed and lacquered against the wind.

Wonder Woman!!! We moved to Malta from Oz when I was just 6 and I couldn't watch her on tv anymore because they didn't have Wonder Woman - or colour tv - at the time!
I missed Wonder Woman so much that all I did was draw pictures of her at school and pretend I had her super powers - the other kids must have thought I was off my rocker... My teacher called my Ma in to ask her why I kept drawing pics of a half naked woman :-P

My favorite since I bought a stack of comics off another kid when I was in 6th grade back in -- well, I won't tell you how long ago, LOL, but 'twas a loooooong time -- is Daredevil.
Though, the movie downright stank.
Of course, I do own the DVD. And the Director's Cut DVD.
But, ah, that's devotion, right?

Wonder Woman. My sister and I used have a costume each. And we used to love pretending we had her bracelets on so we could block any imaginary bullets.
