Weve got the snow, all we need to know is how. I know how to make it the traditional way of rolling a ball, however was thinking of using my bin to pack the snow in and then release, and a mop bucket for its head! Will it work?

The snow will be both packed in, it and the tapped, to release the plastic exterior, creating a mold of snow!!

Yes it would work (although the snow may stick to the sides and you'll get a funny shaped snowman) - but is not as much fun as rolling up the balls. Think of it as good exercise!

How to make a snowman. Start with a tennis ball sized snowball, roll this along the ground in the snow. More and more snow will stick to this until it forms a large cylindrical shaped thing. Make two of these, one larger for the body and one smaller for the head. You'll need to carve the snow here and there to get the shape you want. A carrot for the nose and two black buttons for the eyes. The mouth either carved out or you can put a row of small items in a smiley shape.

First put a large bin bag into the bin, then another one inside that.
Your theory is sound for the shape you want but you are under-estimating the weight of the snow involved.

The two bag system will enable the inner bag to slip out of the outer bag with little resistance. The bag holding your molded snow can then be cut away.

Have fun!

an easy and quick way would be to fill a trash can with snow back it in and dump it out where you want the snowman me and my frnz found it quit effective when the snow wasn't very packable

I like to make a whole row of miniature ones along the garden wall

Two tennis ball sized balls upon each other with a clothes peg for a nose

Then we take turns knocking them off the wall with snowballs!!!

Great fun!!!!

That will work, get a big trash can fill it up with snow, pack it down(careful not to break the trash can) then dump it up side down-preferably use a trash can that has little inverts around the side, this will give it some decoration. then add buttons and a hat.... or a mop bucket i guess....haha
