I think of my husband's Nana's chocolate-banana cream pie. I hate bananas & I love chocolate cream pie. For years I feigned being full when this was the dessert. Then one fateful day, Nana offered chocolate cream pie. At last! No bananas in it! Yes, I'll have some please. First bite is a mouthful of chocolate pie with banana. My husband burst out laughing at the look on my face, almost making me choke. I ran with a mouthful of yuck and spit it out in the toilet.
Nana still doesn't know I hate bananas.
