I have a sliver Mercedes CLS 500 and it's paint has chipped on the engine cover and front bumper. I'm wondering is there anyways to prevent it from happening? Just a stupid question, or perhaps there's some sort of paint on the market that can prevent car paint chip...

Get a regular black bra for the bumper or a respray. Wax will help, but its not going to stop a hard rock.

Possibly get a respray and get a clear bra if you don't like the black one?

it's quite difficult 4 preventing the paint from chipping off,no matter how careful u r driving.the best way is driving slowly n avoid following behind big trucks like lorry, bus etc.the only solution is to respray the same color.

More wax the merrier. That adds a shell over the paint.
