career wise?

I wanted to be a veterinarian... but, I used to tell people I wanted to be a "veteran" because I thought that word was short for veterinarian. My dad was in the Air Force, so people thought I knew what I was talking about... grown ups would say to me, "Wow, what branch of the military do you want to serve in?"
I'd look at them, puzzled, and say, "Oh, I don't want to be in the military. They only see dogs and cats. I want to take care of lots of different kinds of animals." And then the grown ups would chuckle for some mysterious reason.
I kept the vetrinarian dream alive all through high school and even worked for a vet my senior year... then I became allergic to cat hair... I took some ag classes in college... then became a teacher... but I have multiple pets, cats included, and I take Claritin!

I don't know if this would be a career or not, but anyways I when I was younger I always wanted to be a Mobster, I thought mafias and mafiosos were cool. But now, i'm leaning towards justice. I'm still a teenager and i'm interested in being above the law.

Many things---matador's wife who appeared at bullfights, a farmer with a huge coffee ranch like in 'Out of Africa', a singer, a poet, a psychologist. Closest to my heart was either a traveling photojournalist or an archaeologist.

I wanted to be a famous trumpet player, still do but not famous. Better than wanting to be sportsman and wearing out at 35 all busted up.

When I was really little I wanted to be a Princess.
In primary school I wanted to be a Jockey.
In high school I wanted to be a Veterinarian.
I'm currently unemployed! lol
