I have only had a problem with this once. When I was going through basic military training, I developed painful, burning, chancre sores about the size of a dime inside my outer labia. Sometimes they would get a green film over them. I am sure I do not have an STD. I have been with my fiance' for two years, he has been my only partner, and I am positive I have been his only, as well. It cleared up, and I haven't had a problem since, but I am still wondering what it could have been?

Sorry to tell you but it still can be an STD-- and it could have been previous encounters before the two of you met. As you stated, you haven't had a flare up in a long time---please get checked out immediately- "green" is a telltale sign of an infection, and a bad one at that..........good luck to you..............

Wel, could ahve been lots of things including the size that is often put into material to keep out creases. Size was used in underwear and other clothing supplied to the military to give it that new and off the hanger look. Men as well as women in military had problems with sores from this stuff as it mixed with sweat and caused chafing and then got infected. If there have been no sores in two years i doubt that there would be anything to be concerned about.

If you think at some sstage you may have had something untoward blood tests are available that can detect things like previous infections of syphilus and gonorrea .
