Recently I bought a used car made in 1998 but why it used a lot of gasoline more than normal.?

I bought this used car last week and it seems that it used more gasoline than normal car or similar to bigger C.C. My car just 850 CC but it look like using petrol as it 2000 CC. Answer from the expert on car is needed, please.

did u check ur engine b4 ur bought this car? is there any modification of ur car engine?plz check ur car together with its document,is it matching?if everything ok,then u've to change ur pistons n overhaul ur car.ask ur workshop to grind n lap the valves as well as cleaning the carburetor n air filter.use semi-synthetic oil 4 old car like urs w'd be much better.

It may have a fuel leak, clogged filter of some sort, or need maintaince in other forms. Worn ignition components can cause this as well.
