Yes. Each person's ears have different sensitivity, so experiment. You can check standard decibel levels charts to compare your exposure of loud sounds to. There is lots of evidence that people have damage from loud sounds that shows up later on. Having your hearing tested now would give you a baseline to compare to for seeing how your hearing changes over the next years.

Depends on how loud but generally yes. If you rock out hard in your car you usually start to get used to the loud sound and tend to turn it up to hear it better. This is a very bad trap. Just be reasonable on your music volume and you should be fine.

Listening to music as loud as:
A lawnmower (90dB) more than 8 hours per day,
.
A chainsaw (100dB) more than 2 hours per day,
A loud rock concert (115dB) more than 15 minutes per day,
Or a jet engine (140dB) for any amount of time,
All of these will damage your hearing.

yepper. So when I go out to the club with my friend, he bought me earplugs to wear. The little foam twisty ones and they are great! I can still hear the music fine, but I don't have a headache for two days after.

Yes. If the sound is above 90 decibels, it will damage your ears. For short time exposure, damage is not permanent, but for long time exposure, it could cause permanent damage. (loss of hearing)

Not only will it hurt your ears, but it will diminish your hearing over time. Not saying I haven't done it, but that is what happens.
BTW: Every time I see your "name" it makes me giggle.
