I have depression.
My wife told me I should just kill myself.
She never apologized.
I won't ever forgive her or forget it.

I think if it's a half hearted apology they don't really care about you, so in my books i'd dump their ***. But i'm a mean ***** and i expect nothing less of myself either. A sincere apology should do, after all that's what your waiting to hear. It's not rocket science.

I would accept the appology, but make it clear that that doesnt mean that I want to move forward with that person. I would committ to TRYING To get over it (accepting an appology doesnt make it all better - it is the start to making it all better). if it was something that involved breaking trust that is a long road to get trust back

Have more respect for yourself and tell him you do not accept his apology. Why demand a sincere apology he will probably fake it. Ignore him about a week and see what happens.

some things just aren't acceptable, no matter how you slice it or what kind of an apology is made......it really just depends on what exactly was done. if you don't feel right about letting it go, don't let it go! you have to trust yourself, and you deserve to be treated with respect.

Whatever they did...it is living in your head "rent free" and you got nothing but pain to show for it. Forgive them...So you can move on and have peace. You don't have to tell them you forgave them, that is your control. It's harder to take the High road, but it works...and the next time you deal with them, make sure they know your boundries are set....and aren't moving! Good Luck!:)

***WELL, IF IT WERE SOMETHING REALLY BAD, I WOULD PROBABLY DUMP HIM, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, NO IF, ANDS, OR BUTS. AS FOR A HALF-HEARTED APOLOGY, I WOULDN'T ACCEPT IT. THIS SITUATION WOULD HAVE TO BE DISCUSSED THOROUGHLY, UNTIL I GOT A SINCERE APOLOGY. IT DOES NO GOOD TO APOLOGIZE IF YOU DON'T MEAN IT.***
