Use a mneumonic or memorization technique.

Make an acronym, like ROYGBIV which are the colors of the rainbow... or Every Good Boy Does Fine (musical scale EGBDF).

Make a song or silly story for the concepts you need to memorize. Songs are very powerful for the repetition factor!

For a list of things to remember, you can do something like picking a room in your house... then you associate an item with each word on your list of things to memorize.

Write notes/flash cards and study them.

Re-write notes, draw or re-expose yourself repeatedly.
Most impt, don't stress too much as that impacts your performance most negatively.

Good luck!

If they are tables. Instead of trying to memorize across as they should be read, memorize each column fully down then write it out when test time comes. This way you arent trying to remember that computation/fact, you're memorizing the values and can interpret it later.

Also read stuff right before you go to bed.

You could try turning it into an acronym. Like I used this to remember how to spell arithmetic. A Rat In Tom's House Might Eat Tom's Ice Cream.

Or to memorize the order of directions N E S W..Never Eat Shredded Wheat.

Memorizing becomes easier with proctice. Sometimes it helps to think of a mental image. Other time, saying a sequence out loud can make memorizing easier. If you can tell us what kind of info you're trying to memorize, we can be more helpful with suggestions.

repetition is the key, repetition is the key, repetition is the key

its been studied that you will remember someone's name if you say it out loud at least 3 times when they first introduce themselves...

what ever you want to memorize... write it down... then read it to yourself... flash cards can help if the info is bulky... but like I said... repetition is key

Read, read, and read again. It sometimes helps if you're imagining what you've studied so you can remember it as if you're watching tv or movies.
