i have had high bp for about r5 mths now and in this time it has still not come down to normal it is 161/121 i have cut back on everything and it is getting depressing as in cant see any possitive fresults as yet what am i doing wrong i go to the doctors every 2 wks

Get your thyroid level checked. When I had this same problem I had to go to 3 different doctors before one found out what it was. Advanced hyper-thyroid, Graves disease.
Avoid juice and sugar, avoid stress, coffee and pop, eat whole grain fiber. Alter your diet with a nutritionists help.
Most of all, don't let your BP worry you into raising your BP.
Drink plenty of fresh water and try to get good sleep.
Hui has a good point, get some low impact exercise, go for a brisk walk 30 minutes every day.

Controlling blood pressure is not only cutting back on you diet alone. It is also contributed by our psychological health. If you are stress because of other reason and getting depressed because of your condition, all these will contribute to the raise of pressure. Please check with your physician, as there were research published few years back that light to moderate exercise at the beginning of blood pressure management is beneficial. Maintain a positive attitude and mental health are also important.
