This weekend i have to referee my twin sister's basketball team team on the weekend, does anyone have advice or anything about it.

Focus on what you're doing, and hopefully you will lose sight of the fact that your twin sister is playing, and treat her just like everyone else. Watch the game closely, and make sure to count steps, count time in the paint, watch for kicked balls, lane violations, traveling, palming the ball, over and back, etc. etc. etc. - half of it is what you do when people run into each other. The other half of it is what you do when people play sloppy.

Call 'em as you see 'em. I once had to pitch in a baseball game where my dad was the umpire (the umpire originally scheduled to do the game never showed). It was a little awkward at first, but after the first inning or two, everything was fine. Of course, it wouldn't hurt if there are no tough calls involving your sister. In that same baseball game, my dad called me safe on a close play at the plate, and the other team got all over him.

this is a bad idea. There will be a tendency to make calls that are going to be either biased towards your sister. They can be in her favor as a sign of favoritism, although not done on purpose. Or they could be against here as a way to compensate. This is something that is a lose lose situation as far as your sister is concerned. Try and get out of this if it is at all possible.

Surpeise them but don't hit too much on other girls...also if u see a player involved in foul play...take her aside n tell her that u can let her go but u have to talk to her later about this.

Be honest and fair. Don't favor your sister's team!
