no one is totally prepared for this. Famous phrases include "tell xxxxxx I love her" , "i'm sorry, pls forgive me" . like in movies. What about in real life? (knocking on wood) What if you had a fatal accident and only had a few minutes to live? There's a high chance you wont even be near any of your loved ones when this happens. What would you say?

I have everything in order and I have written a note to be read to all my family.

I won't say what is in the note but along with the note I have a poem for my husband and a different one for the rest of the family.

I'll share both with you.

The first is for the family. The second one is for my husband.

Don’t cry at my grave cause I won’t be there.
I’ll be in the breeze that ruffles your hair,
I’ll be in the sunshine I’ll be in the snow,
I’ll be in the places that we use to go.
I’ll be in your shadow and there in your dreams.
I’ll be in your greetings but not your goodbyes.
I’ll be in the reflection of your loving eyes.
I’ll always be with you and I’ll always care.
Don’t cry at my grave side cause I won’t be there.

Take my hand and walk with me,
across the sands of time;
Hand in hand and heart to heart.
Husband . . . friend of mine.

We will share the solitude.
And walk in quiet peace.
My heart hears what your heart says,
it listens when yours speaks.

We’ve shared hearts and souls as one,
in perfect harmony;
The laughter and the tears we’ve known,
Are the sweetest melody.

For years have brought us to this place.
Across the sands of time;
We’ll walk together, till the end.
Husband . . . friend of mine.

I think this will give them comfort.

My last words will most likely be something to the effect of "look out" followed by a scream, since the odds of me dying in a fatal car crash are a lot higher than most (I ride lights-and-sirens).

That is too personal a question to answer on Yahoo! I am not being emphatic; it is just the spelling of "Yahoo!".

"I don't want to die." Or, "Tell my daughter that I love her and to keep me with her always."

Now I think I'm going to cry!
