I very rarely drink any more, but I won't drive drunk.
Way back in 1977 when I was 17 I used to go out drinking with my friends. I was always the designated driver because I was the only one who didn't speed or get all reckless when I was drunk.
It was a different time then. Underage drinking was a rite of passage and drunk drivers were not stigmatized unless they hurt somebody.

I always get volunteered to pick them up. I don't drink, so I stay home and wait for the phone call. I'd rather watch my favorite shows then go to a bar and watch people waste time, money and energy on something frivolous. Throwing up in a public toilet, that who knows when it was last cleaned. Knowing the hang over in the morning is gonna kill ya?! I don't get it.

i don't drink so i'm always the designated driver.... i have more fun laughing at the drunks and i take pride in knowing that everyone will be able to get home safe b/c of me.

I'm always the DD. I don't drink. Only drink at home where I can get smashed and know I will be safe.

well i myself dont drink.. but then at the same time i also cant drive so at the end of the day i always get driven home by a drunk person - usually my boiffy.. i should work on getting my license - FAST!!!!
