No.
ALL Societies are always at risk from terror attacks. It's a particular risk in open and free societies such as ours.
However...Don't let it worry you. Your odds of being directly involved in a terrorist attack are very, very, very low. Sure, it'll have SOME effect upon your life due to travel restrictions or economic effects, but again, it's about as likely as a major natural disaster. They happen.
Don't let fear rule you life.

No, it is impossible to ever be safe from a terrorist tactic. That is like saying will our country ever be safe from crime. There are, and always will be, people that want to cause harm to our country. Whether it is another Oklahoma City Bomber or a member of Al Qaeda, people are out there plotting and some will eventually succeed. There is no possible way our government could monitor all that goes on throughout our country and world. Someone will attack us.
Nevertheless, we still need to do everything possible to prevent and mitigate possible tactics. We can make it harder and make their attacks less successful. While doing so we have to make sure to balance security and individual rights. A government that is too powerful or too invasive could become a bigger threat than the terrorists. I don't think anyone wants to live without privacy.

No. We are amazingly lucky that we've gone so long with so few terrorist attacks until now. People in the Middle East and Ireland haven't been so lucky. For some places in the world, terrorist attacks are a monthly occurrence. We just joined the rest of the world, is all.
That said? We are really far more likely to die in traffic accidents or of heart problems than in a terrorist attack. Try not to focus only on that one possibility. If you live in fear, then the terrorists (whose main goal, after all, is to spread terror) really do win.

Not as long as there are terrorists. Of course there are those who say it's America's fault that there are terrorists. In that case, maybe America should disappear, then America will be safe, and the world will be rainbows and butterflies forever. The only way to really be safe from terrorists is to give the government the tools it needs to fight terrorists. That means don't make terrorists a protected class just because the're muslims (for example), or Buddhist monks, or Scientologists, and don't value their civil rights above the lives of their potential victims. Otherwise, terrorists will just get away with what they will always be planning: the downfall of democracy in favor of their own ideological insanity.

A terrorist attack or an Iraqi attack? A percentage of the American people have been brain washed into believing that the Iraq War is the war on terror. This is not true, but to answer your question no we are not safe from a terrorist attack but we are safe from a Iraqi attack since we are spending 3 billion dollars a week there and they are not even the group that was involved in 9/11.

Nope, they only have to succeed once despite failing 99 times in a row. We only have to fail once with 99 successes in a row.
Kind of unfair odds, look at the Israelis. The have a very good security service and a large portion of the populace is security minded and still terrorist attacks happen.
Short of banning all public places to congregate it's impossible to stop a determined terrorist from making an attack. The good news is we've done a pretty darned good job in thwarting plots in the United States despite what everybody says about Bush.

No. A terrorist attack and not be predicted due to it's nature. Airport security is a joke- we closed the barn door after the horses left. it's too late, they won't be using that tactic again.

There's no way to ensure against terrorism, but it is possible to make life difficult for certain groups to plan, finance and develop attacks. It happens all the time, but you don't hear about it because the successes are usually classified.

No, it is impossible for anyone to be COMPLETELY safe.
and that go's double for a country
and that go's triple for a country as destructive as ours.
So knowing now that safety can NEVER be guaranteed, you should ask yourself why our government puts controls on it's people in the name of safety.
