I think of a house that I used to live in in Decatur GA until the Hare Krishna's bought it. I am glad about that though, there were some horrible memories from that house. Anyways, once the Krishna's bought that house, they painted it pink. Every time we pass that house now, we say, "There is the Krishna house"
Then I think of the movie "Airplane!"

I once knew a girl who joined Hare Krishna cult. She invited me to church with her so I went. We were fed beans and rice and told we would go to paradise when we died because we'd eaten blessed food.During service I whispered a question to my friend and the leader yelled at me,"Women are not to speak in service !"My friend was a lovely, sweet, girl of 24 and she had a 3 year old son and a boyfriend. Well, they decided they needed her to live in Boston which was around 700 miles away ,so, she left her son with her lover and went. She was hardly allowed to bring any possesions. A few months later she wrote us a note that said they had her working, basically begging, 16 hours a day on the street in the freezing cold ! She begged for some lip balm and some chocolate and tampons. I sent them but always wished I had been able to go rescue her. She completely vanished after that. Stay away from them ! The principles are good but man has perverted thier application ! PEACE.

"This awakening of pure love of God is the ultimate perfection of all bona fide religious principles including Christian, Judaic, Mohammedan, Hindu, etc."

Lord Jesus Christ said that one should love God with all his heart, and soul and mind. Similarly Krishna instructs that everyone should surrender unto Him in Love. Krishna is God and Krishna says to love Him only. TherEfore there is no difference between the original teachings of Lord Jesus Christ and Krsna.

Lord Jesus says (John 6:46), “Not that any man hath seen the father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.”
Lord Jesus is the faithful son of God and his Father God is Krsna, so there cannot be any disagreement between them. Therefore the Father and Son are one, in agreement.

Lord Jesus explains that he kept his disciples faithful to the Lord in His Holy Name. And the process of Lord Sri Caitanya is the same—to keep one always in contact with the Supreme Personality of Godhead by constantly chanting the HARE KRISHNA Mahamantra, the Holy Names of the Lord.

I think of the park scene in the cult musical, Hair, where Claude takes his first acid in the park and has an hallucination about a Hindu temple, and the song that is sung repeats "HARE KRISHNA" over and over. I've been trying recreate the hallucination ever since I started taking LSD, but alas, it has never been achieved...
