Apart from PE (required barefoot, as is the norm here in the Netherlands) I went to one evening art class barefoot in college, on a really hot day. Normally I didn't go barefoot yet back then, I'm 38 and ten years barefoot, so college & school was well before my barefootin' days. I just didn't know anyone barefoot, had never seen anyone barefoot in public so the very idea didn't occur to me, well apart from places like the gym, pools, beaches, and extremely hot weather 'cause somehow then almost everything comes off :)

In India, even today, some students go barefoot. And, I was barefoot goer to the primary school.

I never did but my kids were allowed to go barefoot if they wanted to in Junior School.

At lunch we had a patio. In front was some green grass. perfect on a sunny day to go barefoot.

I'm always barefoot at school, then again I'm homeschooled so I don't think it really counts.

I dont think I ever did - went to a strict school! but just yesterday I went to see a client for work and walking back to my car I just had this sudden urge to take my shoes off! It was about 37 degrees C - I was hot and my feet were sore (high heels). it felt good :)
