I could settle. Sometimes I wish I would settle, it would make my life so much more uncomplicated. Someone loves me and wants to marry me, but in my heart I know that if I settle, then a little piece of me will die every day because he is not what or who I want.
Eventually I will be with the one I want, it just seems to be taking forever, but I cannot will not settle for less than being truly happy.

I didn't have to settle or hold out for better, I found my true love at 19, got married at twenty, married for 10 years with 15 month old twins.

Settle for what? Are you talking about relationships? If so, i did settle and then i realized i'd made a huge mistake. i like my boyfriend much better then my ex-husband. But i may still not settle.
