I know majors dont really matter but what about a minor?
I was planning on doing a minor in Spanish. Does that look bad for med school or would they rather see a minor in science, social science, or art?

I think it would be great to have a spanish minor because it would distinguish you from all the other med school applicants with science majors, and you would be able to speak another language which is a plus these days.

It doesn't matter what you major and minor in as long as you have the prerequisites for med school. Spanish would be good because then you could service people in this country that for some reason speak no english and just spanish!

It honestly doesn't matter. Pick a minor that you are good at because you will need some solid A's from those classes to boost your GPA. Also, biochemistry is an okay major for med school. It will cover a few of the courses you have to take for admission to med school anyways: chem 1 w/lab, chem2 w/lab, and biochem (biochem is only required at a few select med schools.
