while i think the first answer is incredibly biased and ignores history and the incredible aggression of not only some of the citizens of the Palestinian territories but also of the current Hamas government, I do have to agree that they should not be considered part of the Bush agenda.

My reasoning is simple enough, the Palestinians have waged an unrelenting war on Israel but no one else in recent memory. That makes them quite a bit different, though terrorist in nature they are not the anti western radicals that Bush is after.

This is an amazing thing, the Palestinians have rewriten history to suit themselves like almost no one else. The Palestinians have the opportunity to live in peace and security, to have an economy that is as vibrant as any in Europe or the Arab world and they squander it on racial hatred.

The Palestinian situation will not improve until one of two things happens, they give up on their desire to destroy Israel and concentrate on their land and lives, or they succeed in this, I would say impossible goal.

The Palestinians are not a subjugated people, they do it to themselves. I pray they come to their collective senses and work for a better life, but as it stands i expect them to pass into the pages of history as an extinct people eventually.

Palestine is often cast as a the worst of the bad boys, but goodness gracious me, look at Israel's aggression!

Don't be fooled by the "Axis of Evil" nonsense. It's just an over-simplified way to make a Hitler of the month club for the media to report and for us to gobble up.

Palestine in itself is supposed to be an independent territory. But because of the struggle of its people to have a territory of their own, terrorists came about to demand their right. Thus, some Palestinians were considered as terrorists because of an invalid means in airing their grievances.

Oh yes, being pushed off your land and out of your homes, murdered and starved and given identity cards to move through check points in your own land certainly qualifies one as evil.
